8 Years Later: What's Changed and What's Coming - Rebuilding My Blog, Slowly and Intentionally

It's been about eight years since I last posted anything substantial here.  I didn't mean to step away for that long - and I tried to come back with little blurbs here and there - but life kept moving: fast, full, and in a hundred different directions.  Somewhere along the way, this blog got quiet and gave way to Snapchat, then Instagram Stories, then IG Reels and TikTok.  

But lately, I've been craving a slower rhythm again.  A space to reflect, document, and notice the spaces in between the milestones... all the little things that make up a big, full life.  

In the time I've been away, I have taken a lot of faithful leaps.  I started my own real estate brokerage and property management company.  The tutoring business is going strong and growing.  I've upgraded my photography system and deliverables - and it's a creative side of me I've truly grown to love.  I also started a directional sign business for open houses, which has given me at least two years of restless weekend mornings.  

I've seen a few furry faces pass away... and eventually welcomed a new one into my life.  I've carved out an office space for myself - a place I truly love to be.  

All of these ventures have kept me busy, but more than that, they've made me more intentional about how I spend my time, how I choose to work, how I create space - for myself and others - at work and at home.

So here I am again - with a few too many houseplants, an evolving paper planner, and a desire to write things down in a blog.  Not perfectly.  Just thoughtfully.
