So many things have happened this year, I don't even know where to begin recounting.  My office filmed our Caramel Apple Cider Mimosa video.  If you follow us on Facebook, we posted a teaser of the video on there!  Watch us, we're silly.  :)

We had a Presidential Election with candidates that seemed like polar opposites.  Regardless of whether your candidate won or lost, we should still be respectful to each other.  America is an amazingly talented, humble, and tolerant nation.  We shouldn't forget our intrinsic human nature to help and support one another.  There are a few out there who have used the election as an excuse to act insensitive and use vitriolic language towards people, issues, and various communities.  I would like to think that we are better than all that mess.  Let's keep being awesome!  Not just to our friends and family, but to those that are less fortunate as well.  If we think America is great, we need to show how great we are by being good role models for other nations, for our communities, and for our children. 

Halloween was pretty quiet for me.  I stayed at home and passed out candy.  My neighborhood isn't in a large family-friendly community, so there weren't many kids that came by.

Took a short vacation to Miami and the Bahamas with a girl friend of mine.  It was fun to get away for a short trip.  The 10 days before the trip was pure work madness!  My days were packed with appointments and various other tasks that needed to be taken care of before I left.  Sometimes the stress of falling behind on work outweighs the relaxation of being on a vacation.  I'm starting to think I'm going to pass on future vacations for a while.

In September, I went on a much bigger trip to Bali, Indonesia with my coworker.  It was amazing.  Thinking back, I can only remember all the beautiful sights and amazingly friendly local Balinese people.  We visited Legion, Kuta, Ubud, Denpasar, and a few islands like Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida.  I've discovered that I do not like humid weather, at all.  I have long wild hair that likes to stick to me and becomes untameable with the added moisture.  I also react strongly to bug bites.  And I get motion sick.  All things that make humid tropical travel really not fun.  But I think I have learned immensely from all the traveling that I have done this year and I really think I have all my necessary travel gear and medicine down to a T!

I don't really remember what happened between June - August of this year... I think I mostly worked!  It is the hot season for real estate, so I doubt I had much free time to do anything.  This year I was an advisory board member of the Young Professionals Network (YPN) for our local real estate board.  We did a Month of Giving in August where we did a book drive to help out the Inland Empire Children's Book Project (IECBP).  IECBP takes all books, new or old, kids or adults, and sorts them and places them where they will be most useful.  The kids books get sorted to allow teachers to pick them up for specific students in mind.  Those books get to go home with the students.

In May, I went on an Alaskan cruise with friends.  It was a stunning cruise ship.  The grandeur of the glaciers blew my mind.  It was probably the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen.  I would love to go back again and again if I could.  I wonder if I could live in Alaska?  The weather there is certainly much less humid than that of Bali!

In April, I fulfilled a bucketlist goal.  I've been wanting to go to the Coachella concerts for years and this year I finally did it!  It was an wonderful experience.  The music was awesome, the people were very friendly, and the venue was pretty large and spacious.  I've already purchased VIP tickets for 2017, I had so much fun there this year that I HAVE to go back again!

January - March was a swirly mess of months for me.  I'm hoping 2017 will be an even more productive and amazing year.  I've already put together a visionboard for 2017, but I'd like to put together a more detailed list of goals and steps to attain those goals.  Sometimes it's hard to work towards something when it's only abstract thoughts and nebulous feelings.  That's why it is so important for me to write it all down.  The act of writing it all out helps those ideas to solidify into realistic and attainable goals.

This year is almost coming to an end, but there is still so much more that I want to do!  Besides the Caramel Apple Cider Mimosa video, we have another Thanksgiving video that we want to film and share with our clients, family, and friends!  I will share it on Facebook, via email, and possibly here on this blog when it is ready!
