$5 Smash Mouth Concert on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017
Hi Everyone! Just wanted to let everyone know that the Beaumont Concert Series is coming back (kinda)! Smash Mouth will headline the summer concert set for Wednesday, Aug. 2, in Stewart Park in Beaumont. The concert will start at 8 p.m. Entrance into the park will be on the Ninth Street side. Bring lawn chairs and blankets. Food truck vendors will be available from 4 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets will be $5 per person. Gates will open at 3 p.m. for pre-sale ticket holders and at 4 p.m. for people to purchase tickets at the gate on the day of the concert. Eventbrite has tickets for sale also, click here. I like the ease of buying tickets online, but not sure if I'd rather save the money and just buy tickets at the gate... I guess I see how I feel tomorrow around 4pm.
I haven't gone to any of the previous years FREE concerts although we had some pretty big names for such a small town. After the Beaumont city government money scandal, they got rid of the concert series. But I'm glad to see that they are attempting to bring back some music for the summer. My bf and I will most likely go this year, so maybe we'll see you there?
